The
Mundelein Fire Association
is pleased to announce its annual Pancake Breakfast will be held this year on
Sunday, July 6th. Breakfast hours will be 7 am to 11 am under the tent at the
Mundelein Munch. All proceeds benefit the Mundelein Fire Department in upgrading
equipment to help us serve the public better. Tickets available at the tent on
the 6th. We serve rain or shine.

Dogs, more than just “Man’s Best Friend’’, Save-A-Vet begins
fundraising for Kennel to House K9 Veterans, in an effort to raise money to
begin construction on their planned kennels on donated land, Save-A-Vet is
holding their first benefit on July 13th at Bootleggers in Antioch, IL ... it is
a motorcycle ride, featuring a raffle with prizes from several local businesses,
the Grand prize for the raffle is a 2008 Harley Davidson XL1200C. Tickets for

Join
Bears’ running back Adrian Peterson for a FREE football clinic at Weiss
Field in Waukegan, IL on Saturday, July 12. This free clinic provides youth the
opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork
skills, while building self-esteem both on and off the field. Clinic is open to
the first 200 8-10 year olds and the first 200 11-13 year olds to register.

A
free Vacation Bible School, “Rodeo Round-Up,’’ will be held July 7-11
from 9 am until noon for children entering grades K-6 this fall at the Gages
Lake Bible Church. A closing VBS program will be held Friday evening followed by
a Rodeo Fun Night, also free, Teen Rally program for Jr. High and High School
students will be held Monday through Thursday evenings, July 7-10, from 6:30 to
9:00 pm. Both programs will be directed by traveling Evangelist Buddy McNorton

Libertyville Senior Center invites seniors to a July/August Birthday Bash on
