Registration - McHenry Pigtail League - Girls Softball Event Hosted By Sean This Event Is Happening At McHenry VFW Saturday February 6th 9:00 AM to Saturday February 13th 2:00 PM The McHenry Pigtail League  - Girls Fast Pitch Softball - will be holding it's registration for the 2010 season on Saturday, Feb. 6, and Sat., Feb. 13, 2010 at the McHenry VFW.  The registration will take place between 9 AM and 2 PM each day. Girls between the ages of 6 and 18 are encouraged to join.  The purpose of the McHenry Pigtail League is to promote sportsmanship, team spirit and a feeling of accomplishment through competetive sport.

O'Plaine Rd., Gurnee) Saturday February 6th 10:00 AM to Saturday February 6th 11:00 AM Michael Latza, College of Lake County English professor, will present a poetry workshop titled Gandhi, Ahimsa, Satya and poetry: Writing the Peaceful, Truthful Poem.  The event, which is free and open to the public, will be hel in the conference room at the library.  Latza, a published writer, is the editor of CLC's literary journal, "Willow Review." Daddy Daughter Dinner/Dance Antioch Event Hosted By AdvertiserAdm This Event Is Happening At Antioch Upper Grade School, (800 Highview Dr) Saturday February 6th 6:45 PM to Saturday February 6th 9:00 PM A total of 700 tickets will be sold at the parks office, 806 Holbek Drive or online for Antioch residents only.  The cost is $20 per couple and $10 for additional daughters.  New this year, each girl will receive a photo with dad and a special keepsake frame. www.antioch.il.gov  

Daddy Daughter Dinner/Dance Lindenhurst Event Hosted By AdvertiserAdm This Event Is Happening At BJ Hooper School, (2400 Sand Lake Rd., Lindenhurst) Saturday February 6th 5:00 PM to Saturday February 6th 7:00 PM Dads are invited to dress in safari attire and bring their daughters to a dinner dance.  A professional dee jay and a catered meal will be featured.  The cost is $40 for father with a daughter, 3 years old and older.  Non-residents pay $50.  Additional daughter tickets are $15 each.  Professional photos will be taken for an additional cost. Pre-registration is required.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.
