With more than 3 million I-PASS customers, 50,000 credit cards registered on I-PASS accounts expire monthly.

It is your responsibility to update your credit card information online at www.illinoistollway.com or by calling 1-800-UC-IPASS (824-7277).

If your account is set up to automatically deduct funds from a credit card, be aware cards eventually expire. That could lead to a negative I-PASS account balance. An easy way to avoid this situation:

• Log in to your I-PASS account regularly, verify the credit card expiration date and I-PASS account balance. Also, be sure your home and email addresses are correct.
• Pay attention to email and U.S. mail notices. The Illinois Tollway distributes more than 100,000 notices each month advising customers of credit card expiration - an average of 2 notices for each card before expiration.
