


Oven Style Swiss Steak
- 2 Lbs. Beef Round Steak, 1 inch thick
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Medium Onion, Sliced (1/2 Cup)
- 1-4 Oz. Can sliced Mushrooms, drained
- 1-8 Oz. tomato Sauce
Trim fat from meat. Pound meat with meat mallet; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place meat in baking dish. Top with onion and mushrooms; pour sauce overall. Cook, covered at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Uncover, cook 15 minutes longer. Baste occasionally. To serve, spoon sauce over meat.
