Calendar Community Nutrition Classes Thursday, February 23, 2012 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm CSTDuration: 2 hours Calendar: Main Calendar Categories: Website: http:// The Lake County Health Department's North Shore Health Center offers additional diabetes and nutrition classes on the first Thursday of each month from 1PM - 3PM at the North Shore Health Center, 1840 Green Bay Road in Highland Park. Topics include the basics of diabetes and nutrition, heart health and other general nutrition topics. The free classes are offeres in conjunction with the NSHC's Diabetes Prevention and Treatment Program, which provides client screening, referrals, outreach and community education. You do not have to be a participant in the Diabetes Program to attend the classes. More information can be obtained by calling the Lake County Health Department at 847-984-5341
